Esmaeil Baghaei highlighted that such threats have disrupted normal flights to Beirut Airport and stemmed from the Israeli regime’s unfounded claims regarding the aircraft’s connections to Hezbollah. Following these tensions, two civilian flights from Iran to Lebanon were canceled at the Lebanese Roads Minister’s directive.
Protests ensued around Beirut International Airport due to the cancellation, with many Lebanese citizens demonstrating against the Israeli influence.
