Following severe flooding and landslides in Brazil during January, the Church mobilized to assist affected individuals. Over 2,000 basic food baskets, 3,000 gallons of drinking water, 2,500 hygiene kits, 220 mattresses, and 138 blankets were distributed across several impacted cities, including Coronel Fabriciano and Ipatinga, which suffered substantial damage.

Ipatinga experienced significant casualties and displacement; thus, the Church sent 500 food baskets and various other supplies to assist victims. Additional support was extended to Paranaguá and the cities of Campinas and Jundiaí.
In Paraguay, Church members partnered with the Social Pastoral of the Archdiocese of Asunción to respond to food scarcity, packaging 3,000 non-perishable food kits for communities in Chaco. This initiative was part of a broader solidarity campaign aimed at alleviating hunger among vulnerable families.
In Bolivia, volunteers collaborated to refurbish the José Soria Welcome Center in La Paz over two days. Led by Stake President Carlos Vásquez, participants contributed various supplies, including paint and putty, to enhance the facility. This effort exemplified the Church’s commitment to serving the community and provided support for local educators and children.
