The 2025 UIAA Ice Climbing World Tour’s fourth round took place in Longmont, Colorado, from February 21 to 23, 2025. Mongolian athletes delivered remarkable performances, achieving two gold medals and one silver. In the women’s speed event, International Master of Sports N. Selenge won gold with a time of 12.64 seconds, marking her third straight World Cup victory.
In the men’s speed division, International Master of Sports N. Kherlen clinched gold, completing the course in 7.43 seconds, thus becoming a two-time World Cup Champion and currently leading the world rankings. His brother, International Master of Sports Ch. Mandakhbayar, also a two-time champion, secured silver with a time of 8.67 seconds. O. Saikhanjargal finished sixth in this event.
The competition featured approximately 90 elite climbers from 15 different nations, showcasing their skills in speed, strength, and tactical strategies. The United States fielded the largest team, consisting of 27 climbers. Four athletes from Mongolia are scheduled to compete in the final round in Edmonton, Canada, on February 27, 2025.
