This data solidifies Lithium Ionic’s role as a leading entity in Brazil’s lithium industry.

Lithium Ionic Corp. (TSXV: LTH; OTCQX: LTHCF; FSE: H3N) has officially submitted an independent technical report compliant with NI 43-101 for the Baixa Grande Lithium Project located in Minas Gerais, Brazil. This submission follows the updated Mineral Resource Estimate revealed on January 14, 2025, showcasing a significant growth of 32% in resources.

The technical report, titled “Independent Technical Report on the Mineral Resource Estimate for the Baixa Grande Salinas Lithium Project, Minas Gerais, Brazil,” was prepared by GE21 Consultoria Mineral Ltda in alignment with NI 43-101 standards, with an effective date of December 2, 2024. This estimate includes 6.52 million tonnes of Measured and Indicated resources at a grade of 1.11% Li₂O, equating to 179,580 tonnes of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE) and an additional 12.90 million tonnes in the Inferred category at 0.96% Li₂O, or 305,920 tonnes LCE, representing approximately 30% of the Company’s total resources valued at 64.7 million tonnes in Brazil’s Lithium Valley.

The Baixa Grande location, part of the Salinas properties acquired in March 2023, is particularly noteworthy, situated 100 kilometers north of the Bandeira development project. This area sits within the Eastern Pegmatite Province, renowned for its spodumene-bearing pegmatites, thereby reinforcing the Company’s position as a leader in lithium resources.

In a related industry development, Pilbara Minerals revealed their acquisition of Latin Resources and the Colina deposit for AU$559.9 million, signaling significant investment interest and potential in Brazil’s lithium sector. The Baixa Grande MRE covers a property of 662 hectares, a minor segment of Lithium Ionic’s expansive 17,000-hectare land package.

Lithium Ionic Corp., a Canadian enterprise focused on lithium exploration and development in Brazil, is advancing its initiatives in a rapidly evolving mining jurisdiction. The Company’s Bandeira Project is strategically placed among significant lithium operations, including CBL’s established Cachoeira mine and Sigma Lithium Corp.’s major Grota do Cirilo deposit.

The technical information disclosed in this report has been reviewed and validated by Leonardo Soares, P.Geo., M.Sc., of GE21, who is independent of the Company. Carlos Costa, Lithium Ionic’s Vice President of Exploration, and Blake Hylands, CEO and Director, have also approved the scientific data presented.

The filing of the NI 43-101 compliant report marks a pivotal milestone for Lithium Ionic Corp. in showcasing its resource growth and reaffirming its strategic position within Brazil’s burgeoning lithium industry. This updated Mineral Resource Estimate underscores the Company’s dedication to expanding its lithium portfolio and enhancing stakeholder confidence through transparent reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. The developments in the Baixa Grande Project not only enhance the Company’s mineral resource profile but also demonstrate the ongoing potential for growth in the lithium market, particularly in Brazil, which is increasingly becoming a focal point for significant investments in lithium resources.
