With regards to remarks by U.S. senators concerning Hong Kong’s National Security Law, Lin condemned their interference in Hong Kong affairs, defending the law’s implementation as necessary for stability and security. He highlighted positive feedback from American businesses about the investment climate in Hong Kong as a show of confidence.
Lin also focused on recent comments from the ROK regarding perceived threats from China, asserting that such narratives serve no purpose and undermine China-ROK relations. He emphasized the importance of non-interference in internal matters and called for improved relations based on mutual respect.
Finally, Lin rejected accusations of genocide concerning China’s treatment of the Uyghur population, labeling them as egregious lies.
