Ferrari Achieves Historic 1-2-3 Finish at Qatar 1812km in FIA WEC

In the LMGT3 class, the 33 Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R, driven by Ben Keating, Jonny Edgar, and Daniel Juncadella, secured first place after a challenging race. Juncadella’s experience proved vital as he held off a late surge from Grégoire Saucy, driving the 59 McLaren 720S LMGT3 Evo.

The top five finishers in the LMGT3 class were: 1st – 33 Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R (287 laps), 2nd – 59 McLaren 720S LMGT3 Evo (+0.493 seconds), 3rd – 31 BMW M4 LMGT3 (1 lap down), 4th – 78 Lexus RC F LMGT3 (1 lap down), and 5th – 21 Ferrari 296 LMGT3 (1 lap down).

Looking ahead, the next round of the FIA WEC is scheduled for 20 April at the 6 Hours of Imola, marking another opportunity for teams to compete in this prestigious championship.
