Marla Johnson, UA Little Rock’s tech-entrepreneur-in-residence, remarked, “Argentina is quickly becoming a leader in AI innovation, with companies like Celara and Possumus driving the future of AI-powered business transformation.” These companies are innovating in various areas, including the optimization of operations and the enhancement of knowledge management, ultimately creating new revenue streams.
The event will take place at the Schueck, Lexicon, McCarty Auditorium within the Engineering and Information Technology Building. Attendees can expect presentations and panel discussions involving experts from Celara and Possumus, followed by a networking reception at the Windgate Center of Art + Design.
Beginning at 1:30 p.m., the program will feature a keynote address titled “Beyond the Buzz: Where AI is Headed in 2025.” Zubair Talib, an AI expert with a background from MIT and serving as the executive director at Celara Labs, will discuss forthcoming trends in AI.
Dr. Brian Berry, vice provost of research and dean of the Graduate School at UA Little Rock, stated, “Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming industries across the globe,” reflecting the significance of the event to students, faculty, and the wider business community.
At 3 p.m., an engaging panel discussion entitled “Investing in AI” will explore current AI investment trends, showcasing how businesses are integrating AI products and odkyoing new market opportunities. Panelists will include Mr. Talib, Federico Tagliani from Possumus, and Pablo Abdian, CEO and co-founder of Celara Labs.
