Snow Lake Resources will initiate its Phase 2 drilling program at the Engo Valley Uranium project in Namibia in mid-March 2025. This program aims to drill 7,500 meters and support the creation of a maiden mineral resource estimate. The previous Phase 1 campaign confirmed uranium mineralization at two key sites, reinforcing the project’s significance in meeting rising uranium demands.

Snow Lake Resources has announced the commencement of its Phase 2 drilling program at the Engo Valley Uranium project in Namibia, scheduled to begin in mid-March 2025. This initiative will encompass 7,500 meters of reverse circulation and diamond drilling targeting two key areas: the Main Uranium Occurrence and D1 prospects. The results from this drilling campaign are anticipated to aid in developing the project’s maiden mineral resource estimate, which is expected to be completed in the latter half of 2025.

The Phase 1 exploration campaign conducted in 2024 successfully confirmed uranium mineralization at both the Main Uranium Occurrence and D1 prospects. Frank Wheatley, CEO of Snow Lake Resources, emphasized the company’s aim to showcase Engo Valley’s potential to fulfill the increasing global demand for uranium, which is driven by rising energy requirements associated with data centers and advancements in artificial intelligence technology.

In summary, Snow Lake Resources is set to launch a significant drilling program at the Engo Valley Uranium project in March 2025. This Phase 2 initiative follows previous successful exploration efforts and is aimed at supporting the estimated mineral resource development to meet the growing global uranium demand. The company’s leadership is focused on demonstrating how the project can contribute to energy needs globally.
