The official invitation was presented to Minister Khaled by German Ambassador to Malaysia, Dr. Peter Blomeyer, during a meeting at Wisma Pertahanan in Kuala Lumpur. Khaled noted that the meeting served as a platform for discussing key developments, including the recent election results in Germany, as well as enhancing defence relations between the two nations.
Additionally, Minister Khaled mentioned that at the recent ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM) retreat held in Penang, Germany and Turkiye were unanimously accepted as observer countries in the ADMM Experts’ Working Group (EWG) observer programme.
