UAE Ambassador Emphasizes Significance of Iftar Celebrations in India

On Thursday, Abdulnasser Alshaali, the UAE Ambassador to India, highlighted the significance of Iftar celebrations, stating that it has become increasingly meaningful for both him personally and the embassy. He noted that the first Iftar event hosted by the embassy a few years ago has evolved into a larger and more impactful occasion each year, reflecting growing participation and interest.

During an interview with ANI, Alshaali expressed, “Iftar has become really special for me, not just for the embassy. We hosted it for the first time a couple of years ago. It became a larger and larger event every year.” He emphasized that these celebrations embody the compassion and values that the UAE takes pride in sharing with India.

Alshaali used the recent opening of the BAPS Mandir in Abu Dhabi as an illustration of the robust relationship between the UAE and India.
