The director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, recently stated that the sanctions imposed by the United States against Iran’s nuclear energy program have proven ineffective. Iran’s nuclear chief, Mohammad Eslami, echoed Grossi’s sentiments by dismissing the effectiveness of the unilateral sanctions.
