The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has reported the capture of Clarence Enyi Mfor, a criminal illegal immigrant, on its 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List. He was arrested on March 2 in San Antonio by DPS Special Agents from the Texas Anti-Gang Center. Notably, a reward will not be issued for his capture.
Mfor, 37 years old, originally from Cameroon, was wanted in Bexar County for sexual assault since January 2025. His previous encounters with law enforcement include arrests by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in California in 2019 and again in San Antonio in May 2023 for immigration issues.
Texas Crime Stoppers, funded by the Governor’s Public Safety Office, offers rewards for information leading to the capture of fugitives. In 2025, DPS and collaborating agencies have apprehended 13 fugitives from the Texas 10 Most Wanted lists, including multiple sex offenders and illegal immigrants, totaling $20,000 paid out in rewards thus far.
Individuals wishing to provide information on fugitives may do so anonymously through various means: calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS, submitting a web tip via the DPS website, or using Facebook to submit a tip. It is crucial to remember that these fugitives are considered armed and dangerous, and the public is advised not to attempt apprehension.
The apprehension of Clarence Mfor underscores the ongoing efforts by the Texas Department of Public Safety to address issues related to crime and immigration. With continued collaboration between local law enforcement and the community, the safe capture of fugitives on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Lists remains a priority.
