Orosur Mining Shares Surge Following Positive Drilling Results from Anzá Project

Orosur Mining’s shares rose up to 8% after announcing positive drilling results from its Anzá gold project in Colombia, including significant gold mineralisation from the Pepas prospect. Orosur Mining Inc. experienced an increase in its share price, rising by as much as 8% during early trading on the morning of March 10, 2025. This surge followed the announcement of favorable drilling results from the Anzá gold project located in Colombia. Investors reacted positively to new assay data from the Pepas prospect, which confirmed significant gold mineralisation over extensive intervals.

Among the notable results, one drill hole revealed 62.5 metres of mineralisation at 5.4 grams per tonne of gold, while another drilled nearly 80 metres of mineralisation. Since acquiring full control of the Anzá project in late 2024, Orosur has made rapid advancements within this initiative, following the buyout of its previous joint venture partner. This project is situated within the rich Mid-Cauca gold belt, recognized for containing numerous exceptional gold and copper deposits.

In addition to the drilling efforts at Pepas, Orosur Mining has initiated an aeromagnetic survey aimed at providing a more detailed geological map of the area. Preparations are also underway for exploratory work at the El Cedro prospect. Furthermore, the company is conducting metallurgical testing to gain insight into the processing of its gold resources. Following an initial boost in stock value, shares remained up by 0.4p at 11.05p.
