Kyrgyzstan’s boxers won three medals at the Youth World Boxing Cup in Montenegro, with Amantur Dzhumaev earning silver while Omurbek Malabaev and Zarina Asanova secured bronze. Furthermore, they are competing in the Women’s World Boxing Championship in Serbia.
Kyrgyzstan’s boxers achieved notable success at the Youth World Boxing Cup, held from March 3 to 9 in Budva, Montenegro, as reported by the Boxing Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic via social media.
Amantur Dzhumaev secured a silver medal in the under 57-kilogram category, showcasing exceptional skill and determination. Concurrently, Omurbek Malabaev and Zarina Asanova earned bronze medals in their respective categories, at under 92 kilograms and under 70 kilograms, reinforcing Kyrgyzstan’s reputation in youth boxing.
In addition to their achievements at the Youth World Boxing Cup, Kyrgyz athletes are participating in the Women’s World Boxing Championship that commenced in Serbia, thereby continuing their competitive journey on the international stage.
