Connected Minerals (ASX:CML) has engaged Namibian drilling contractor Hammerstein Drilling to undertake its first reverse circulation reconnaissance drilling program at the Etango North-East and Swakopmund projects in Namibia. Scheduled to commence in April, the program encompasses 33 holes totaling 2,500 meters, with 2,000 meters designated for Etango North-East and 450 meters for Swakopmund.
Initially, drilling will target Etango North-East, where high-priority areas emerged following a rock chip sampling program completed in December 2024. Following this phase, efforts will shift to Swakopmund, orienting towards targets identified through a recent horizontal-loop electromagnetic survey.
CEO Warrick Clent emphasized that the partnership with Hammerstein Drilling represents a significant advance for the company, enabling them to initiate drilling in the upcoming month. “The commencement of drilling will be a major milestone for Connected Minerals,” stated Clent, reflecting on the promising targets identified during recent fieldwork.
