Additionally, automotive diesel fuel will now be available at $161.47 per litre, reflecting a decline of $3.06. Meanwhile, ultra-low sulphur diesel will see a marginal decrease of $2.94, resulting in a new price of $168.59 per litre. Kerosene will also decrease by $3.06, now priced at $145.15 per litre.

The prices for liquid petroleum gases have also been updated, with propane priced at $73.34 per litre, reflecting a decrease of $0.77, and butane at $82.87 per litre, down by $0.92. It is important to note that marketing companies and retailers will apply their respective mark-ups to these base prices.

The recent fuel price adjustments in Jamaica signify a notable reduction, benefiting motorists and consumers alike. With decreases observed across various fuel types including gasoline, diesel, and kerosene, these changes are led by updated ex-refinery costs from Petrojam. The decreases will likely ease transportation costs, providing relief to consumers amid ongoing economic considerations.
