In response to recent violence, Pakistan called upon the Afghan government to take decisive action against those responsible for the Jaffar Express attack in Balochistan. The attack involved terrorists targeting the Jaffar Express near Sibi, where over 400 passengers were taken hostage. Following the incident, Pakistani forces conducted a successful operation, resulting in the neutralization of all 33 attackers and the safe rescue of the hostages on Wednesday.
Despite the successful outcome of the rescue operation, the situation resulted in the tragic loss of 21 civilian lives prior to the military intervention, and four Frontier Corps personnel also lost their lives during the operation.
