Álex Rins faced challenges securing grip during the initial practice session, concluding FP1 in twelfth place. However, as the session progressed and the track conditions improved, Rins managed to make notable advancements, ultimately achieving a time of 1’37.591s, which placed him sixth in the final standings.
In a similar vein, Fabio Quartararo began FP1 in thirteenth position but mounted a solid comeback as the practice progressed. He posted a time of 1’37.818s during his final lap, resulting in an eighth-place finish, thereby ensuring his participation in Q2.
