The 2025 Tunisian Golf Open will take place from March 20 to 22 at The Residence Golf Course, marking the start of the Tunisian Swing in the Alps Tour season. Enhanced by institutional and private sponsorship, the tournament showcases top competitors from 20 nations and features a commitment to promoting Tunisia as a premier golf destination.

The 2025 Tunisian Golf Open, the fourth event of the Alps Tour season, will take place from March 20 to 22 at The Residence Golf Course in Tunis. This tournament marks the beginning of the Tunisian Swing, including another upcoming event, the 2025 La Cigale Golf Open from March 25 to 27 at La Cigale Tabarka Golf Course, following the Egypt Swing.

Tunisia has elevated its partnership with the Alps Tour, adding a second tournament for the 2025 schedule due to the collaboration of the Tunisian National Tourism Office (ONTT), The Residence Tunis, and La Cigale Tabarka Hôtel-Thalasso-Golf. The Tunisian Golf Open was previously hosted at El Kantaoui in 2015 and 2016, and its presence this year at The Residence Golf Course aims to enhance Tunisia’s visibility as a premier golf destination.

Highlighting Tunisia’s premier golf venues, The Residence Golf Course and La Cigale Tabarka Golf are vital for the Alps Tour as they showcase top-tier golfing experiences and accommodations. The addition of these locations enhances the Tour’s standing, while simultaneously promoting Tunisia as a leading golf destination on an international scale.

A Pro-Am event preceding each tournament will take place, with the Tunisian Golf Open Pro-Am scheduled for March 19 at The Residence Golf Course. This event will feature a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. involving 24 teams.

The tournament will assemble an impressive field featuring the best competitors from the 2025 Alps Tour Order of Merit, including Quentin Debove from France, who leads with 9,661.50 points, and defending champion Gianmaria Rean Trinchero from Italy. Other notables include Spanish players Javier Barcos and Alvaro Hernandez Cabezuela, and Swiss golfer Luca Galliano. The tournament demonstrates a diverse representation with 20 nations participating, fostering international competition.

The Alps Tour, established in 2001, serves as a developmental platform for aspiring golfers, providing them the opportunity to compete and grow. It culminates in the awarding of five HotelPlanner Tour cards to the leading players, enabling them to advance in their professional careers.

The Residence Golf Course offers an exceptional golfing experience, designed by Robert Trent Jones II, spanning 18 holes with scenic views and top-notch amenities. It is integrated within The Résidence Tunis hotel, providing a luxurious setting for both relaxation and recreation. The course is committed to sustainability while delivering a challenging golfing environment.

Support for the 2025 Tunisian Golf Open is provided by various sponsors including the ONTT, The Residence Tunis, and KIA Motors. The La Cigale Golf Open by Alps Tour will also have similar institutional and private sponsorship. Promotion for both events is conducted by Esports Concept.

The tournament format will accommodate 120 players, including both national participants and amateur golfers, following a 54-hole individual stroke play format. The prize fund amounts to €47,500 for the winner, with significant Order of Merit points at stake. Updates can be followed on the official website and social media channels as well as through the Alps Tour Golf app available for download.

Notable reminders include maintaining the “Alps Tour Golf” watermark in posts and tagging the official handles for visibility.

The 2025 Tunisian Golf Open, part of the Alps Tour, signifies Tunisia’s growing importance as a premier golf destination. With strong institutional support and a commitment to enhancing visibility through world-class venues, this tournament promises exciting competition among top talent.
