BYD has officially launched the Seagull in Morocco, introducing two variants equipped with BYD’s blade batteries. The first version offers a driving range of 230 kilometers, while the second extends to 300 kilometers. Notably, the Seagull can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes under DC fast charging conditions.
Since its market entry in July 2023, BYD has introduced six passenger vehicles in Morocco, including the Han, Tang, Yuan PLUS, Song PLUS, Seal, and Seagull. This launch represents a significant expansion in the company’s offerings in the region.
At the press conference, Mr. Adil Bennami, the General Manager of Auto Nejma, BYD’s Moroccan partner, stated, “This electric vehicle, specifically designed for urban scenarios, perfectly integrates cutting-edge technology with practical design, continuously demonstrating the concept of improving life through technological innovation.” The Seagull stands out in the Moroccan new energy market, featuring a robust car body structure, up to six safety airbags, a 10.1-inch adaptive rotating display, and a smart connectivity system that supports both Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Furthermore, it incorporates intelligent voice control for a more engaging driving experience.
