Furthermore, Mohamad urged the public to refrain from misinterpretations or negative perceptions regarding the acceptance of the Palestinian fighters, emphasizing that this act is in line with Malaysia’s international responsibilities. The humanitarian efforts have been supported by the Malaysian Humanitarian Trust Fund for Palestinians, which has raised RM99 million, reflecting the generosity and compassion of the Malaysian people.
