The Irish delegation, arriving on July 14, was headed by Diarmuid Wilson, the deputy chair of the Senate’s Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence. The group of senators, including Garret Ahearn, Gerard Craughwell, Gerry Horkan, and Sharon Keogan, engaged in a series of meetings with high-ranking Taiwanese officials and explored cultural sites during their six-day itinerary.
The Guatemalan parliamentary group, which arrived on July 15, was led by Congress President Nery Abilio Ramos y Ramos, accompanied by members César Amézquita, José Sanabria, Karina Paz, and Victor Alburez. Their schedule included meetings with President Lai and visits to various ministries and cultural landmarks over their five-day stay.
MOFA affirmed Taiwan’s substantial collaboration with the Marshall Islands, focusing on infrastructure, healthcare, and women’s empowerment.
