African Union Chairperson Commends Doha Meeting Between Congo and Rwanda Leaders

The meeting took place on March 18, 2025, under the guidance of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani of Qatar.

The Chairperson commended both leaders for their dedication to dialogue and peaceful resolution regarding the crisis in Eastern DRC. This commitment showcases their understanding that peace, security, and stability are crucial for the prosperity of their nations and the broader Great Lakes region.
