Ooredoo Tunisie has introduced its “Fix Jdid 5G” service, offering fixed wireless access solutions to both residential and business clients, achieving speeds of 100 Mbit/s. CEO Mansoor Rashid Al-Khater stated that 5G will significantly drive the digital economy and foster innovation within Tunisia.
Tunisie Télécom has optimized its extensive fiber infrastructure to bolster its 5G network deployment. CEO Lassâad Ben Dhiab announced plans for a new submarine cable system, expected to enhance service quality within the next year.
Market analysis from Omdia indicates that Ooredoo Tunisie leads the market with 6.4 million mobile subscribers, followed by Orange Tunisie and Tunisie Télécom with 4.6 million and 4.3 million subscribers, respectively.
