International Leaders Gather in Delhi for Raisina Dialogue 2025

Prominent leaders from Bolivia, Hungary, Norway, and IAEA’s Director General arrived in New Delhi for the Raisina Dialogue 2025, occurring from March 17 to 19. This premier geopolitical conference features 3,700 attendees from about 130 countries discussing global cooperation under the theme “Kalachakra: People, Peace, Planet.”

On March 18, 2025, the capital city of New Delhi welcomed key international leaders including Bolivia’s Foreign Minister Celinda Sosa Lunda, Hungary’s Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, Norway’s Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide, and IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi. They arrived to participate in the 10th edition of the Raisina Dialogue, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal via a post on X.

The Raisina Dialogue 2025, ongoing from March 17 to 19, is co-hosted by the Ministry of External Affairs and the Observer Research Foundation. This conference, recognized as India’s foremost platform for discussions on geopolitics and geoeconomics, aims to tackle critical global issues by bringing together leaders from various fields.

Nearly 3,700 participants, including over 800 speakers and delegates from around 130 countries, are taking part. Attendees comprise current and former heads of state, ministers, diplomats, military leaders, and notable thinkers, all discussing cooperation on global challenges.

This year’s theme is “Kalachakra: People, Peace, Planet,” with discussions revolving around six thematic pillars: ‘Politics Interrupted: Shifting Sands and Rising Tides’, ‘Resolving the Green Trilemma: Who, Where and How’, ‘Digital Planet: Agents, Agencies and Absences’, ‘Militant Mercantilism: Trade, Supply Chains and the Exchange Rate Addiction’, ‘The Tiger’s Tale: Rewriting Development with a New Pen’, and ‘Investing in Peace: Drivers, Institutions and Leadership’.

Additionally, the Dialogue will feature the Raisina Ideas Pod in collaboration with Firstpost, spotlighting ministerial sessions that address global significance issues, including Europe’s position within the Indo-Pacific and the African Union’s role in the G20.
